Hauling is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Tuesday, February 13 through Friday, March 8, 2024.
Detour
HAUL ROUTE:
- Materials will be hauled west on Dover Avenue from Seventh Avenue, crossing Excelsior, Elder, Flint, and Fargo avenues, returning northbound on Seventh Avenue.
Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic.
Description
Kings County, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces intermittent traffic impacts along Seventh, Dover, Excelsior, Elder, Flint and Fargo avenues in Kings County to transport embankment to two high-speed rail construction sites. Hauling is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Tuesday, February 13, through Friday, March 8, 2024.
This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.
All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
