Intermittent traffic impacts along State Route 43, Avenue 72, Road 120, Avenue 88, Alila Avenue, Avenue 84, Avenue 108, Avenue 112 and Avenue 120 in Kings and Tulare Counties to transport embankment to two high-speed rail construction sites.
Hauling is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Monday, Feb. 12 and will continue through Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024.

HAUL ROUTE:
- Materials will be hauled west on Avenue 72, north on Road 120, west on Avenue 88, south on Alila Avenue, west on Avenue 84, then north on SR 43 to construction sites at Avenue 112 or Avenue 120 in Tulare County.
Drivers may experience delays.
Description
KINGS AND TULARE COUNTIES, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces intermittent traffic impacts along and near State Route (SR) 43, Avenue 88, and Avenue 84 in Kings and Tulare Counties to transport embankment to two high-speed rail construction sites at Avenue 112 and Avenue 120. Hauling is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Monday, Feb. 12 through Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024.
This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.
All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
